Assemblage

The art of combining old and found objects.

I am intrigued with finding an object that I just “like” for no apparent reason and then seeing other possibilities with it. To me assemblage is like fitting puzzle pieces together, when you don’t even know they exist. It is both artistic and mechanical at the same time. I enjoy the challenge of how they will be attached together to create a newly assembled story of both vintage and 2nd hand items. My creatures tell me their own story and more or less name themselves as I create them.
